Phase (I) “Improvement of the living conditions of the population of the West Bank, Occupied Palestinian Territory, which suffers from a chronic water shortage by the improvement of the preparation and response capacity of national and international actors to deal with this crisis”

The project's pursue is to improve the living conditions of 15,56 inhabitants (3,406 women, 2,781 men, 5,097 girls y 4,172 boys) who live in the following communities: Khirbet Tana, Tell al Khashaba, Duma, Arab Abu Farda, Arab arRamadin al Janubi, EinSamiya, Maghayer Al Dir, Al Jiftlik-abu al ajaj, Ibziq, Aqqaba, Khirbet aT Ras al Ahmar and Khirbet Atuf.
This action ambition is to mitigate the chronic water shortage that they suffer by the improvement of the preparation and response capacity of national and international actors to deal with this problem. To specify more, this project's aims are:
- Reinforce the coordination between the different agents who work in the WASH sector in the Palestinian communities in West Bank.
- Drive a harmonized mechanism to lead a study on the access to water for Palestinian communities in the West Bank.
- Improve the response capacity of the different actors to achieve a higher impact of the projects.
