WaSH-MP Database

The WaSH Monitoring Program that PHG has initiated in June 2002 in response to the urgent need for increased information, resources and action related to the water crisis in Palestine which resulted from the Israeli reoccupation of major Palestinian cities and towns during the second Intifada. The need for quantitative data to support ongoing advocacy and programming by NGOs working on the implementation of WASH related activities to fulfil the UN General Assembly resolution number GA/10967 which adopted access to clean water and sanitation as a human right, has been a primary force behind the initiation and development of the WaSH MP.

The WaSH MP database includes Communities, Households and Schools information that was collected since the inception of the Program in June 2002 until today.
