Confiscation of solid water collection vehicle, owned by Beit 'Anan and Al Jib communities / Jerusalem Governorate, by the Israeli Occupation forces

Water Shortage in Um al Lahem Community/ Jerusalem Governorate

    Um al Lahem is a community in Jerusalem Governorate with an estimated population of about 600 persons. It has no water network. We received a copy of an appeal from Qatanna local council regarding this community saying that since Um al Lahem is not connected to a water network, the Qatanna local council helped the community through the West Bank Water Department (WBWD) to get fund for a joint project for constructing a water network for Um al Lahem in addition to constructing a reservoir for Qatanna community through support by UNDP / KFW.

      Israeli Occupation Forces recently handed over written orders for demolishing two agricultural pools and several cisterns for Palestinian residents in Al 'Aqaba community in Tubas Governorate. This happened several days ago while Palestinian from Al 'Aqaba were working on the construction of these pools and cisterns, where Israeli soldiers ordered people to stop their work directly and asked them to follow up with Israeli Military base in Salim in Nablus Governorate within a period of a month.

Impact of the Current incursion on Beit Hanoun / Gaza Strip

During the past several months, the Israeli Occupation Forces entered during several occasions several parts of the Gaza Strip causing loss of lives, injuries and destruction in the infrastructure, including of course the WaSH related infrastructure.
